How Face-Off collects, uses, and protects data across account, content, and moderation workflows.

1. What we collect

We collect only what is required to operate the platform, secure accounts, and review creator submissions.

Account data

Name, email, username, authentication settings, and security events.

Submission data

Content metadata, uploaded assets, review outcomes, and moderation notes.

Operational data

Session information, abuse prevention signals, and optional analytics consent signals.

2. How data is used

  • Authenticate users, maintain sessions, and protect accounts from abuse.
  • Review submissions, enforce policy requirements, and process moderation actions.
  • Support product reliability and platform operations.
  • Measure usage only when optional analytics consent is granted.

3. Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be processed by infrastructure and delivery providers required to operate Face-Off.

  • Service providers process data under contractual and security controls.
  • Legal disclosure may occur when required by law or to prevent fraud and abuse.

4. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies are always on for core platform features. Optional categories are controlled through cookie preferences.

  • Functional: remembers UI and convenience settings.
  • Analytics: usage measurement and product quality signals.
