A36 Black pairs a dark textured analog dial with metallic hands, bold hour markers and an aperture calendar. Original Huawei author and designer Alex36ist. This listing includes the original Huawei package and a reviewed Wear OS adaptation with English weekday artwork.

Watch-face features

The upper goal position shows a compatible ranged provider as a value and hand, supports short provider text, and hides its dynamic gauge when empty. The lower goal position starts empty and can be changed in the Wear OS editor to a compatible ranged hand, short text or empty provider. The battery position supports ranged percentage, short-text and empty providers, with the numeric gauge hidden for short-text and empty states. Wear OS retains the original analog hands and artwork. Weekday lettering is English and date digits retain the original artwork. Wear OS is a deliberate adaptation of the Huawei design. The designed Wear OS always-on scene uses source-derived chapter-ring markers, the original shaded hour and minute hands, English weekday lettering and original date artwork. Seconds and complications are hidden in always-on mode. Original Huawei always-on behavior has not been recovered. Additional Huawei-specific container behavior is omitted from the Wear OS adaptation. The original Huawei package is supplied separately.

Change the complications

1. Select A36 Black on the watch, then open its watch-face customization editor.
2. Choose the upper goal dial, lower goal dial or battery compartment.
3. Select a compatible ranged-value, short-text or empty provider. The lower goal dial starts empty so you can choose its data source.

The upper ranged dial shows a value and hand. The lower ranged dial keeps the original full-circle hand scale, with the zero and full endpoints sharing the top position. Provider text can use each compartment, and choosing Empty hides its dynamic data.

Compatibility and previews

The Wear OS package uses Watch Face Format 1 and requires Wear OS 4, Android API 33 or later. The gallery shows the actual release on a round 454 × 454 Wear OS emulator in Normal and always-on modes. Its calendar, native editor, compatible ranged/text/empty states and elapsed midnight updates were reviewed on that emulator. Physical-device behavior, sensor accuracy and battery life have not been certified.
